Thursday was Bumblebee’s sixth birthday, so we started the day off by opening presents:

We watched the movie 13 Going on 30 in the morning, and Bumblebee danced to Hannah Montana songs:

We decided that it was a good day to head to Green Bay to go to Lambeau Field since there was rain in the forecast.

I asked a lady to take our picture in front of the statue of Vince Lombardi and she cut off the head of the statue!!

The Husband and The Boy really enjoyed the Hall of Fame. At one point, we were watching a movie about the history of the Packers and while The Husband was staring intently at the screen, his eyes welled up a bit. Bumblebee whispered to me, “Look, Mommy. Daddy’s crying tears of joy about the Packers.”
There is a kid section at the Hall of Fame where children can do the Lambeau Leap, dress up like Packers players and fans, toss a football, and kick a field goal. Here are some pictures:

In this picture below, the kids lined up with these statues. I yelled 'offside!' at Bumblebee and thought that was pretty funny! But Hollywood thought I was dorky for laughing at my own joke.

After visiting the Hall of Fame, we took the family to the pro shop and spent way too much money on Packers merchandise. After spending four hours at Lambeau, It was time for Bumblebee to pick an activity, and she wanted to go bowling. We found a nice bowling alley in Green Bay and donned the dorky shoes.

There was an arcade at the bowling alley and we spent some time playing games with the kids:

The family seems to be annoyed by all of my picture taking. Well, except for Bumblebee, she loves the camera. Can you tell? At the beginning of our vacation, the rest of them were eager to put on a smile for me and pose without complaint, but now it is getting to be difficult to get them into a picture. Oh well, they’ll be thankful someday that I’m a dork when it comes to snapping pictures all of the time.
After the bowling alley, we came back to the house, had birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to Bumblebee.

The kids watched another movie – The Princess Bride – and we had a nice relaxing night, until Bumblebee and The Boy were horsing around and Bumblebee smacked her head on the edge of the coffee table. She got a goose egg right between her eyes and had to sit with ice on it for a while.

She’s ok, though. Will have a bruise to show for it, but that’s nothing new. Today is our last full day here and I plan to spend it shopping, cleaning, and packing. Might take a trip to a cute little park on the beach in Jacksonport too, if the weather cooperates.
I'll close this post with one more photo of Bumblebee, in honor of her big day. Here she is with her new Packers pajamas and her new Packers cheerleader Barbie:
